It's a very fun and entertaining and worth the $20. After a certain point the resaurant will be upgraded on its own. You do not get to purchase things for upgrades with your money.only buy new recipes. It can be very repetitive but will keep you on your toes due to the different difficulty levels (kiddie size, regular, and jumbo size) and variety. It's not a huge deal and does not make the game unplayable. Also touching the item does not always register which again can cause you to ruin the order. The only real problem I see is that the ingrediants are kind of small and close together so you can end up hitting the wrong thing on accident and ruining the recipe. You get 5 lives so if you do not reach your goal in the level you lose a life which is different than Cake Mania and Diner Dash. If all categories were merged in each level, the game would be a litle more challenging and fun. You will never be making all 3 categories at the same time.in o ne level you will be doing just fries, just milkshakes, or just burgers. Instead when you cook a burger or put the fries in the oil they will say done when hey are ready. I think to make it harder, they should have made the player to be able to judge when the fries are done frying and the burgers cooking. There are several different recipes you can unlock and buy for each category of burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Each new recipe you unlock has more ingrediants and steps to remember. You must remember the recipe for each order and make them in that exact order or the customer will not buy it and of course there is a time limit. I think it is a little more interesting because there is more variety in the things you make. This game is alot like Cake Mania and Diner Dash. Burger Island features 60 levels and three difficulty settings: kiddie, regular, and of course, jumbo size. Weekly salaries can be spent on more than 30 mouth-watering, cholesterol-climbing recipes or new restaurants in five choice locations around the beach. Patty works with a French waiter named Pierre, who not only serves the food, but also serves as her guide to the world of short-order cooking. Players are cast in the role of Patty Melton, who is given control of a burger shack after being stranded on a tropical island. In addition to hamburgers, the game includes various recipes for shakes, fries, and other fast-food delights. Fail to meet the goal, and you'll lose one of your available "lives." The goal is to earn a requisite amount of cash by assembling trays with all the ingredients required by hungry customers. Each day begins at 10:30am and ends at 3:00pm. Hawaiian, bacon, cheese, double veggie, and other burger types are available to assemble as players frantically work from behind the counter to grill patties, squirt condiments, and more. The "fine art of burger cuisine" is practiced to patty-piling perfection in this arcade-style game designed in the spirit of Diner Dash and Cake Mania.Or keep it even cuddlier in animal games like Penguin Diner.
